No, our yard signs are rental only.
We don't print to order. We use a company that specializes in making the yard signs.
We have a huge inventory of signs and can find something for everyone. If you require something specific please reach out to us, we may be able to order at an additional fee.
Yes, our signs are weatherproof and can withstand the rain and snow. We do our best to secure them. Sometimes, if the wind is a little bit more than our signs can handle we may reschedule set up or if the sign is set up already we may have to come and pick it up. Mother Nature is our boss.
We prefer to set up on grass as we use stakes to hold our signs up. If you communicate with us that you do not have grass we can use wooden stands.
We will only set up on your side of the lawn. We try our best not to cross into your neighbour's lawn.
Even if you tell us that your neighbour is ok with us to use their part of the lawn, we still won't as this has gotten us in a little bit of trouble in the past.

In a perfect world we would ask for bookings to be done at least TWO weeks in advance*. This gives us enough time to get any special colours/props. If bookings are done less than 2 weeks in advance, we can't guarantee what colours will be available.
* A $50 late fee will be charged for any bookings scheduled less than 2 weeks in advance. (Not applicable to grab & go garland purchases.)
Sparkle The Yard - Balloons is located in Milton, Ontario. We will travel to surrounding areas and beyond.
Our installation and labour fee is included in the balloon price.
Standard delivery fee is $0.65/km BOTH ways (2 times) if there is no rentals included. If there are rental items then delivery is calculated FOUR (4) times.
**If the job requires the use of a rental truck/uhaul then delivery will be calculated accordingly and given a separate quote for delivery.**
PARKING PASS OR VENUE ACCESS
City Center/Downtown or venues with limited/paid parking, not on the ground floor or having to unload and re-park will incur a minimum $50 charge.
Please provide as much information regarding the parking ahead of time.
Please provide information if your venue is not on the ground floor, multiple rooms or if there is a code required to access the car park or facilities.
Delays in decorating time due to parking/access is not the responsibility of Sparkle the Yard - Balloons and may require additional time when setting up.
PARKING PERMIT
If we require a parking permit, please have this taken care of ahead of time OR have someone meet us to show us where to park.
Please make us aware of any parking limitations so we can plan in advance and ensure your decorating runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total quote (not including the delivery fee) is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 72 hours prior to your event.
The deposit is due upon receipt of your invoice. If left unpaid, the invoice will be cancelled after 48 hours.
We understand that things happen and you may need to cancel or reschedule your event. If you must cancel your event setup, your initial deposit is non-refundable and may only be reallocated to another date and time, based on availability, up to two times.
Preparing your balloon decorations starts several days before your event. If you need to
cancel your event within 72 hours of the event date, you will be subject to additional
materials costs if you wish to reschedule.
If you cancel within 72 hours of your event, no refund will be issued. The deposit/full balance will be applied to your future booking, based on availability. If you no longer need our services I can create a balloon garland in the amount of your deposit.
If canceled more than 72 hours before your event, your deposit still remains non-refundable and will be applied to a future booking, based on availability. If full payment has been made, the reminder will be refunded to you within 5 business days.
Balloons go through a natural oxidation process when outdoors - clear balloons will begin to look cloudy and coloured balloons will take on a velvety-matte look. As such, outdoor balloons have a life expectancy of 1-2 days. Indoor balloons have a life expectancy of 4+ weeks.
All of our balloons are high quality, from trusted vendors/companies. Our latex balloons are 100% biodegradable. We at Sparkle the Yard care about the environment. Please do not release your balloons and dispose of them properly.
Balloon setups that are outdoors, should be kept in the shade. They should last around 1-2 days. Some popping is normal as the air in the latex balloons expands in the heat/sun.
Indoor balloon setups can last much longer. You can have your balloons lasting 4+ weeks.
While we use only the highest quality balloons and take every precaution to ensure you get the most life out of your balloons, we are not responsible for any loss of float, pops, or balloon damage after the balloons are in your possession.
No, we will not use balloons that you have purchased on your own. We only use high quality balloons that we can trust.
Most of the kits that are purchased off Amazon are clickbait. Those kits will not give you the outcome that is shown in the pictures. Some balloons come damaged or they pop very easily.
We take pride in our work and only use the best quality balloons.
The balloons are yours to keep. If you have a rental from us and would like us to break down the balloons a striking/breakdown fee of $30+ will apply, depending on the size of your set up.
If you only want us to come and clean up the balloons a travel fee (both ways) and a striking/breakdown fee will apply.
Our grab & go garlands are perfect for those that require something smaller. These garlands are pick up and install yourself. Everything will be provided for you to hang your garland.
These garlands come in 4-10 feet and you get to choose 3 colours. We still ask for you to book your grab & go at least 2 weeks in advance, that way if we don't have your specific colour we can order it.
